These  exciting beginner-level classes are a sure way to shake up your weekend  routine, date, fun with friends and birthday celebrations.  


Students  get to mix and measure natural and organic ingredients to make their  very own masterpiece to take home and use. It gets better…you can even  sip a glass of bubbly while you mix for the experience of a lifetime!

Each session is $45 per person.


Products customized to your hair/skin type. 


Cost  includes aprons, ingredients/supplies, labels, refreshments, a lotta  fun and laughs. Beer, wine and champagne available for 21 and older. ID  required to drink. This is not a BYOB event.

More About Lydia Evans

 

Eleven years ago, Houston native and Medical Esthetician, Lydia Evans found herself developing the perfect solution to her eczema: her very own products. What began as a passion and necessity quickly blossomed into an award-winning skin care brand named “12 Coolest Gift for Travelers” and “Best 25 Gifts for Fathers” by FORBES Magazine. Evans earned her B.A. in Communications Advertising/Public Relations from the University of Houston followed by her license in International Esthetics from the globally acclaimed Institute of Cosmetology and Esthetics.

In 2012, Evans was given the prestigious honor of being named one the “Top 25 Women of Houston” as well as the official “Spirit of Business Award” sponsored by Comerica Bank and Steed Society.


In spring 2013, Lydia collaborated with the top cosmetic and laser center in Houston as a highly-requested skincare specialist with specialization in advanced treatments.


Evans has broken barriers in the ethnic beauty industry with her immense focus and drive to develop the best skin care with an emphasis in skin sensitivities. SW&G® Essentials was featured on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank in December 2014, followed up by a life after Shark Tank update story in October 2015.


In October 2015, SW&G® Essentials was named Mack H. Hannah Pinnacle Award recipient by GHBC. Winter 2015, Evans joined Donnie McClurkin’s Radio Show as a guest beauty contributor sharing winter skin care tips.  SW&G® Essentials’ products hit the big screen with a cameo appearance in the upcoming 2017 movie, “The Dinner” featuring Richard Gere and Chloe Sevigny as well as being featured in the official 2015 Oscar’s Talent Bags.


In 2016 Evans served on the Advisory Board of Stepping Into Strength, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and mentoring young girls. Evans has great respect for charitable organizations, community involvement and its impact. She has worked in collaboration with Walker’s Legacy, AWTY International, ESCAPE Family Resource Center, Houston Food Bank, Keels & Wheels, The ROSE, Texas Women’s Hospital, March of Dimes and St. Jude’s Episcopal Hospital. Evans immense work in entrepreneurism landed her the “Community Hero” Award by Forever Families Inc.  


Summer 2017, Evans was featured as a speaker at Black Enterprise magazine’s Annual Summit in Houston, TX.  Evans and her brands have been featured on CNBC, Let’s Make a Deal, BET Music Awards, KHOU11, FOX 26, WB 39, ABC 13 and many more.
